800 workers resign after company asks them to work from office

As the Covid situation has improved, a number of corporations have already known as their employees to workplace, ending the do business from home (WFH).

Over 800 WhiteHat Jr employees have resigned from the youngsters on-line coding studying edtech start-up in the last two months after being asked to work from office.

This comes after WhiteHat Jr, a platform which was acquired by BYJU’S in 2020, requested its employees to return to workplace within a month’s time, according to an Inc42 report.

On March 18, the corporate announced the coverage to finish do business from home and asked distant staff to return to workplace by April 18.

The resignations got here from full-time workers of the sales, coding, and math teams. More workers are expected to place down their papers in the coming months.

One of many employees who resigned told the web site that a month’s time was not enough for relocation. “Some have children, some have aged and sick mother and father, while others have other duties. Another employee stated salaries also factored in the choice to not return to the workplace.
