CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The parents of a 6-year-old marathoner are talking out after they say little one protecting companies paid their family an unannounced visit and questioned their children at residence.
Ben and Kami Crawford shared a photo on Instagram Sunday purportedly of one among their youngsters being interviewed by a CPS staffer. In the accompanying caption, they wrote partly, "Yesterday Child Protective Companies (CPS) arrived at our home unannounced and interviewed our kids, dad and mom & grandmother. This is a scary course of because often youngsters are interrogated away from dad and mom, against their will, and their answers determine the agency's authorized proper to remove the children."
The Crawfords made headlines final week after they let their children, including their son Rainier, 6, run the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati on May 1 and shared it on-line. Their Might 3 Instagram publish specifically sparked outcry from social media users, with some critics going as far as to accuse the Crawfords of child abuse.

Campbell County, Kentucky, District Attorney Steve Franzen confirmed to "Good Morning America" that child companies had visited the Crawfords, but mentioned no determination had been made but in the investigation.
Ben and Kami Crawford addressed critics' accusations in a prolonged Instagram video Saturday.
"The real stuff that we acquired accused of was dragging Rainier, like physically dragging him on the marathon course after mile 13 and across the finish line," Ben Crawford stated.
"When you guys have seen our finish line picture, all of us held arms for just like the last probably, like, .2, .3 miles," he added. "We talked about it ahead of time, like that is what we will do."
I do not know who needs to listen to this but a six 12 months previous cannot fathom what a marathon will do to them physically. A six 12 months old doesn't perceive what embracing misery is. A six year who is "struggling bodily" doesn't notice they have the proper to cease and should.

"I do not know if I needs to be indignant. I prefer to consider that persons are doing one of the best that they'll. They don't seem to be attempting to damage our life or, you already know, they most likely are legit afraid for our children. But in addition, it is like, where's the road?" Ben Crawford asked.
"I feel like we're doing what we feel passionate about," Kami Crawford mentioned. "It could be type of tragic to cease all that."
Consultants say a marathon is a critical physical feat for anyone and it might probably take a toll on a baby.
"If a younger youngster had been to run a marathon, I'm frightened about electrolyte abnormalities, nausea, vomiting, heatstroke, all these indicators and symptoms that will not be that clear in a young child," Dr. Alok Patel previously informed "GMA."
