The family of an 11-year-old woman who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary College in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader performed useless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother mentioned the 4th grader is struggling to cope and telling them what she witnessed during the capturing.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law referred to as me and she or he was just crying, like 'I feel it simply hit Miah. I feel every little thing came to actuality now,'" stated Blanca Rivera.

Rivera mentioned Miah's instructor, Irma Garcia, was one of the two lecturers killed. Her buddies and classmates had been also targeted.

Rivera stated that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah obtained some blood and put it on herself so she may pretend she was lifeless," said Rivera. "It is too much for me to play that scene over and over, but that's what my sister-in-law said is that she saw her friend stuffed with blood and he or she bought blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been launched.

"My brother mentioned she had bullet fragments in her again," said Rivera.

Rivera, a mother of three, said the family is rallying around Miah to assist her recover bodily, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this level, we just have to pray and ask God to assist us move ahead via this case, I do know it is traumatizing as it's," mentioned Rivera.

Almost everyone in the city of Uvalde has been touched by the loss of somebody in the mass shooting at Robb Elementary Faculty, residents are supporting each other as they start coping with the tragedy.
