A lady visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a information launch from the park.
The lady approached the female bison Monday morning after it got here close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Old Trustworthy geyser, the park stated.

An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison dwell on the park, they usually have injured extra individuals than another animal, the park mentioned.
When the visitor came within 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes within the air, the park mentioned.
The lady had puncture wounds and different injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service stated. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two other individuals had been also close to the animal when it gored the girl, the park mentioned. The discharge didn’t say if they have been injured.
The park warned people to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at the least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
