A girl visiting Yellowstone Nationwide Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old woman, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a news launch from the park.
The lady approached the female bison Monday morning after it got here close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Old Faithful geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison live on the park, and so they have injured more individuals than every other animal, the park mentioned.
When the customer got here within 10 ft of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 ft within the air, the park stated.
The lady had puncture wounds and different injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service said. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other people had been additionally near the animal when it gored the lady, the park said. The discharge didn’t say if they had been injured.
The park warned folks to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and not less than 100 yards from bears and wolves.
