TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida man has been sentenced to life in prison for traveling to Vietnam to sexually abuse minors he met online, in line with officials.

The U.S. Department of Justice says Christopher Edwin Day, 52, traveled two different instances in 2015 and 2016 to Vietnam from Florida to have sexual encounters with minor Vietnamese boys. Courtroom records say he flew forwards and backwards disguising himself as an English instructor.
A few of the boys, in line with the DOJ, were lured with promises of money and presents. Others introduced him as their English instructor.
The Tampa Bay Information says Homeland Security investigated the case in Tampa and in Ho Chi Minh Metropolis. It was a part of Venture Safe Childhood, which was an effort to find youngster intercourse abuse began in 2006 by the DOJ.
“The laws of the US will nonetheless catch up to child predators who even journey to foreign international locations to sexually abuse minor youngsters.
