  1. Imagine the potency and variety of smells going on in that kitchen whilst they filmed this episode…

I love these "How to…" videos, and I love the hosts too. Very interesting and unique people, and that is a compliment!

  2. This has to be the worst description of spices I have heard. You might be able to convince yanks but no someone who actually uses these.

  3. "nobody uses the ghost chili ground"

erm, i do, alot, my favorite is to mix it with SPG in a 4-2-2-1 ratio

  4. Fun fact, Nutmeg is actually toxic! Thankfully I don't think anyone would actually be able to eat something that has the amount that causes poisoning symptoms. About 2 teaspoons is enough to start some symptoms and they get worse the more you consume.

  5. "but isN'T suMaC pOIsONoUS?!???!1!?"
poison sumac is WHITE or LIGH GREEN and grow on RED STEMS and grow DOWNWARD.
The sumac that we eat grows upwards, the berries are red and grow on green stems with red tints.

  6. My mom roasts chiles almost everyday, dry chiles are the worst to roast and grind, but green chiles are ok and we are pretty much used to them. I'm Mexican, so paprika isn't really what we call spicy here.

  7. I’ve heard that once plants are torn from their soil, they go into shock. I love garlic, but as soon as I saw the garlic plant pulled out, I felt bad.
