Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers said.

Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front throughout the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There have been two juveniles in the automotive. Each were taken to a hospital and are now in stable situation, officials stated. We don't know their actual ages.

They’re anticipated to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
