Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Near White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile right into a concrete safety barrier close to the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers said.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance throughout the road from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There were two juveniles within the automobile. Both have been taken to a hospital and at the moment are in steady situation, officers said. We don't know their exact ages.

They’re anticipated to face fees.

D.C. police are investigating.
