Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White Home: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile right into a concrete security barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.

Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front throughout the street from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There have been two juveniles within the automobile. Both were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in steady situation, officials mentioned. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re expected to face costs.
