Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen car into a concrete safety barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials said.

Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the street from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There have been two juveniles within the automotive. Each were taken to a hospital and at the moment are in secure situation, officers said. We don't know their exact ages.

They’re expected to face costs.

D.C. police are investigating.
