Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Near White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile into a concrete security barrier near the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers said.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the road from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There were two juveniles within the car. Each had been taken to a hospital and are now in steady situation, officials said. We don't know their exact ages.

They’re anticipated to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
