Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White Home: Officials – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete safety barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automotive slammed right into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers said.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front throughout the street from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There have been two juveniles within the automobile. Both were taken to a hospital and are now in steady condition, officers said. We do not know their exact ages.

They’re anticipated to face prices.

D.C. police are investigating.
