Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Close to White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The automobile slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at 17th Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials stated.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front throughout the road from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There have been two juveniles within the automobile. Each were taken to a hospital and are now in steady situation, officers stated. We do not know their precise ages.

They’re anticipated to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
