BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "faculty shooter" were present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security announced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple prices.

An increased quantity of cops have been placed at colleges in the communities as a result of the indicators. A number of faculties initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly placed the indicators around the communities, the Department of Safety said, but they decided there is no credible risk at the moment.

One such signal was written on a paper plate. The safety division launched a photo of the plate but blurred a part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of legal threatening and three misdemeanor charges including false report back to law enforcement, false public alarm and criminal threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

No different suspects have been charged right now.
