VICTORIA, Texas -- The Sandy Hook households' lawsuits in opposition to Infowars host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones for calling the 2012 Newtown faculty taking pictures a hoax seem poised to resume soon, based on agreements revealed Friday within the chapter circumstances of some of Jones' corporations.

A listening to, however, stays scheduled for May 27 on whether the chapter case needs to be dismissed. The Sandy Hook households have questioned the legitimacy of the filings, saying they had been meant solely to delay the defamation lawsuits — claims Jones' lawyers deny.

The taking pictures at Sandy Hook Elementary College in Newtown, Connecticut, killed 20 children and 6 educators.

The families of eight of the victims and an FBI agent who responded to school sued Jones, Infowars and others, saying they have been subjected to harassment and demise threats from Jones’ followers due to the hoax conspiracy. Jones has since mentioned he believes the taking pictures did occur.
