Teen arrested after mother observed son had gun at Texas college drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey News) - A number of agencies responded to a center school in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mother observed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle School round 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teenager by no means made it inside the constructing, and he ran from the college.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the realm together with several different agencies in an try to find him.
The teen was discovered near the varsity’s campus and brought into custody.
