Teen arrested after mom seen son had gun at Texas college drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey Information) - Several companies responded to a center school in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mom seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle School around 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teenager never made it contained in the building, and he ran from the varsity.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the realm together with several other agencies in an try to seek out him.
The teen was discovered close to the school’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities said the 15-year-old could be going through a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no menace made to the varsity or anyone inside the varsity.
O.L. Slaton Middle Faculty was briefly placed on lockout on account of the incident.
