The Uvalde Police Department and the Uvalde Unbiased Faculty District police power are now not cooperating with the Texas Division of Public Security's investigation into the massacre at Robb Elementary College and the state's evaluation of the law enforcement response, a number of law enforcement sources tell ABC Information.
The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Impartial College District didn't instantly reply to requests for comment from ABC Information.
According to sources, the decision to stop cooperating occurred quickly after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a news convention Friday during which he stated the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the flawed determination" and contrary to protocol.

Reached by ABC Information, a spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Security said, "The Uvalde Police Division and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police supplied an initial interview however has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days ago."
Last Tuesday's assault, one of the worst faculty shootings in U.S. historical past, left 19 kids and two adults dead.
