Uvalde police, faculty district not cooperating with Texas probe of capturing: Sources

The Uvalde Police Division and the Uvalde Impartial School District police pressure are no longer cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Safety's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School and the state's evaluation of the legislation enforcement response, a number of legislation enforcement sources inform ABC News.

The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Impartial Faculty District didn't immediately reply to requests for remark from ABC Information.

Reached by ABC Information, a spokesperson for the Texas Division of Public Safety said, "The Uvalde Police Department and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police provided an preliminary interview but has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days ago."
