Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of consuming Huge Macs each day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Massive Mac streak began on Could 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend every Huge Mac. I’ve counted each Massive Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske mentioned.

Gorske eats two Big Macs a day.

“All by life here, a lot of people said, ‘You’ll be useless earlier than you reach 50 years of eating Massive Macs.’ I suppose I proved them flawed,” he stated.

His son shouldn't be shocked at his father’s persistence.

“We at all times went to McDonald’s with my dad and had glad meals. I at all times beloved my rooster nuggets, and my brother at all times beloved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life sort of thing for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has more of a varied weight loss plan.

“I used to eat rooster nuggets day by day. I used to eat cheeseburgers each day, however ultimately you just get sick of it. I don’t understand how he does it, but he certainly does,” he stated.

Gorske says he'll proceed eating Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side until he dies.

“Plenty of instances folks will say, ‘You appear to be I’m consuming a Big Mac for the first time,’” Gorske mentioned. “I assume that’s how I really feel typically. They’re that good to me, and there’s actually nothing else I’d quite eat,” he said.
