Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Massive Macs daily

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Large Mac streak started on Could 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count each Massive Mac. I’ve counted every Massive Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske mentioned.

Gorske eats two Large Macs a day.

“All through life right here, lots of people stated, ‘You’ll be useless earlier than you reach 50 years of eating Massive Macs.’ I assume I proved them incorrect,” he stated.

His son just isn't surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We always went to McDonald’s with my dad and had glad meals. I always beloved my hen nuggets, and my brother at all times beloved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s simply an everyday life form of thing for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has extra of a different food plan.

“I used to eat rooster nuggets daily. I used to eat cheeseburgers each day, but eventually you simply get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, but he certainly does,” he said.

Gorske says he'll continue eating Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side till he dies.

“Quite a lot of instances folks will say, ‘You appear to be I’m consuming a Big Mac for the first time,’” Gorske said. “I suppose that’s how I feel generally. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d slightly eat,” he stated.
