Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of consuming Huge Macs on daily basis

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Massive Mac streak started on Might 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count each Large Mac. I’ve counted every Large Mac I’ve eaten my whole life,” Gorske said.

Gorske eats two Big Macs a day.

“All by life here, lots of people stated, ‘You’ll be useless before you attain 50 years of eating Big Macs.’ I assume I proved them flawed,” he mentioned.

His son just isn't stunned at his father’s persistence.

“We at all times went to McDonald’s with my dad and had completely happy meals. I always loved my chicken nuggets, and my brother all the time loved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life kind of thing for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has extra of a different diet.

“I used to eat hen nuggets day-after-day. I used to eat cheeseburgers day-after-day, however finally you just get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, however he certainly does,” he mentioned.

Gorske says he will proceed consuming Large Macs with a Coca-Cola on the facet till he dies.
