Teen arrested after mom noticed son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray Information) - A number of agencies responded to a middle faculty in Texas Friday morning after a young person’s mom seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle College around 9 a.m. when she noticed the firearm. The teenager by no means made it inside the building, and he ran from the college.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the world along with several different companies in an try to seek out him.
The teen was discovered near the varsity’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities said the 15-year-old might be going through a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no risk made to the school or anyone inside the college.
O.L. Slaton Middle Faculty was briefly placed on lockout as a result of the incident.
