Nashville Public Library launches ‘Freedom to Learn’ campaign

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — It's a topic that's taken hold in Tennessee: books like "Maus" or "Stroll Two Moons" have been pulled from shelves.

While those books could be banned from some colleges, there's still some place else you'll find them.

"Our job is simply to ensure that if you would like it, it is right here for you," stated Public Information Officer for the Nashville Public Library, Ed Brown.

"'Maus' is all checked out right now," mentioned Brown. "So we received more copies on order however as soon as word bought round about what occurred in McMinn County, we bought quite a lot of holds."
