Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Huge Macs daily

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Massive Mac streak began on Might 17, 1972.

“I’ve solely missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend every Large Mac. I’ve counted every Large Mac I’ve eaten my whole life,” Gorske stated.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All by way of life right here, a lot of people said, ‘You’ll be lifeless before you reach 50 years of consuming Big Macs.’ I assume I proved them improper,” he stated.

His son isn't surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We always went to McDonald’s with my dad and had joyful meals. I always beloved my rooster nuggets, and my brother at all times liked his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an on a regular basis life kind of factor for us,” he stated.

Gorske’s son has extra of a varied diet.

“I used to eat rooster nuggets every day. I used to eat cheeseburgers day by day, but eventually you simply get sick of it. I don’t know how he does it, but he certainly does,” he mentioned.

Gorske says he will proceed consuming Big Macs with a Coca-Cola on the aspect till he dies.
