New York Legal professional General Letitia James will investigate social media companies including Amazon's Twitch in connection to the apparently racially motivated taking pictures at a Buffalo grocery store that left 10 useless and three injured.

James' workplace will even focus on 4chan, 8chan and Discord, but is just not restricted to these platforms, in line with a information release revealed Wednesday. Investigators will look at on-line assets the gunman "used to debate and amplify his intentions and acts to carry out this assault."

Discord will cooperate with the investigation, a spokesperson said.

Discord on Tuesday said, "What we all know at the moment is that a private, invite-only server was created by the suspect to serve as a personal diary chat log. Approximately half-hour previous to the assault, however, a small group of individuals have been invited to and joined the server. Before that, our data indicate no different individuals saw the diary chat log in this non-public server."

A Twitch spokesperson mentioned the corporate is cooperating with the investigation.

Representatives for Twitch and 4chan did not immediately respond to requests for comment. A representative for 8chan could not immediately be identified.
