Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Near White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automotive about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The automobile slammed right into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers mentioned.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front throughout the road from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There were two juveniles in the automotive. Both were taken to a hospital and are now in steady situation, officers said. We don't know their actual ages.

They’re anticipated to face charges.
