Federal brokers entered Uvalde faculty to kill gunman despite local police initially asking them to wait

Federal agents who went to Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday to confront a gunman who killed 19 kids have been informed by local police to attend and never enter the school — and then decided after about half an hour to disregard that initial steering and discover the shooter, say two senior federal regulation enforcement officials.
