Speaking within the dugout of the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kapler mentioned, "I do not plan on popping out for the anthem going ahead till I really feel higher in regards to the path of our country."

I wish that I may have demonstrated what I discovered from my dad, that when you're dissatisfied together with your nation, you let it's recognized by way of protest. The house of the courageous should encourage this."
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made an impassioned plea to take stronger motion against gun violence in the United States.Kerr refused to talk about basketball ahead of Recreation 4 of the Warriors' sequence in opposition to the Dallas Mavericks, as a substitute raising his voice as he railed towards gun violence within the wake of Tuesday's shooting.
