SACRAMENTO, Calif. >> A suspect on the run since a mass capturing left six folks dead during an alleged gang dispute in California’s capital metropolis last month has been arrested in Las Vegas, authorities said.
Investigators imagine Mtula Payton was one of the alleged gang members who opened hearth in downtown Sacramento on April 3. He was taken into custody at an residence complex, the Sacramento Police Division stated in a statement Saturday evening.
“Las Vegas Metro Police Division worked with our detectives for weeks in an effort to locate Payton,” the statement stated.

Payton and two others, brothers Smiley Martin and Dandrae Martin, have been charged this month with murder in the slayings, in addition to weapons offenses.
