The Uvalde Police Division and the Uvalde Impartial School District police drive are now not cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Security's investigation into the massacre at Robb Elementary Faculty and the state's overview of the legislation enforcement response, multiple regulation enforcement sources tell ABC Information.
The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Independent College District did not instantly reply to requests for remark from ABC News.
In keeping with sources, the decision to stop cooperating occurred soon after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a information convention Friday throughout which he stated the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the flawed choice" and contrary to protocol.

Reached by ABC Information, a spokesperson for the Texas Division of Public Safety stated, "The Uvalde Police Division and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police provided an initial interview but has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days ago."
Final Tuesday's assault, one of the worst college shootings in U.S. historical past, left 19 children and two adults dead.
