When you do the b sus 4 then the f sharp minor is it the same picking pattern? Because you say it's the same pattern but then you play it differently

Just to simplify I'd rather use sweeping in the arpeggio chords
Dial back the distortion a bit on your amp. You're looking for a sound where the clean tone is just breaking up – the 'sweet spot'. Too much distortion will make it sound like mush.
