Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten unmittelbar den Wert einer lieblings Positionierung in Ergebnissen und recht bald entstanden Organisation, die sich auf die Aufbesserung spezialisierten. In den Anfängen ereignete sich die Aufnahme oft bezüglich der Übermittlung der URL der richtigen Seite an die vielfältigen Internet Suchmaschinen. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Kritische Auseinandersetzung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Website auf den Web Server der Suchseiten, wo ein zweites Computerprogramm, der gern genutzte Indexer, Infos herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu sonstigen Seiten). Die späten Versionen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die anhand der Webmaster selbst vorhanden worden sind, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im WWW wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamtüberblick über den Inhalt einer Seite, allerdings registrierte sich bald raus, dass die Nutzung er Hinweise nicht solide war, da die Wahl der genutzten Schlagworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Beschreibung des Seiteninhalts sonstige Verben kann. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Seiten bei spezifischen Suchen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller unterschiedliche Punkte in des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beherrschen, dass die Seite überlegen in den Serps gelistet wird.[3] Da die zeitigen Suchmaschinen sehr auf Faktoren dependent waren, die ausschließlich in Taschen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr labil für Straftat und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um höhere und relevantere Resultate in Ergebnissen zu erhalten, mussten wir sich die Inhaber der Search Engines an diese Faktoren einstellen. Weil der Ergebnis einer Anlaufstelle davon zusammenhängt, wesentliche Suchresultate zu den gestellten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, vermochten ungünstige Vergleichsergebnisse zur Folge haben, dass sich die Benützer nach ähnlichen Wege zur Suche im Web umsehen. Die Auskunft der Suchmaschinen im Internet vorrat in komplexeren Algorithmen für das Rang, die Punkte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur schwierig steuerbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin generierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Vorläufer von Yahoo search – eine Suchseite, die auf einem mathematischen Matching-Verfahren basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Kanten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus reingehen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
