Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten rasch den Wert einer bevorzugten Positionierung in Suchergebnissen und recht bald fand man Behörde, die sich auf die Besserung spezialisierten. In den Anfängen erfolgte die Aufnahme oft bezüglich der Übertragung der URL der richtigen Seite an die divergenten Suchmaschinen im WWW. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Auswertung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetseite auf den Webserver der Anlaufstelle, wo ein weiteres Programm, der sogenannte Indexer, Infos herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu anderen Seiten). Die zeitigen Versionen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die mithilfe der Webmaster auch existieren werden konnten, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Internet Suchmaschinen wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamteindruck via Gegenstand einer Seite, jedoch setzte sich bald heraus, dass die Verwendung der Ratschläge nicht verlässlich war, da die Wahl der eingesetzten Schlüsselworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Vorführung des Seiteninhalts sonstige Verben hat. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Seiten bei spezifischen Stöbern listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller mehrere Fähigkeiten in des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu manipulieren, dass die Seite größer in den Ergebnissen gelistet wird.[3] Da die zeitigen Suchmaschinen im WWW sehr auf Kriterien dependent waren, die alleinig in den Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr empfänglich für Abusus und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um bessere und relevantere Vergleichsergebnisse in den Serps zu erhalten, mussten wir sich die Operatoren der Suchmaschinen im WWW an diese Rahmenbedingungen angleichen. Weil der Triumph einer Suchseiten davon abhängt, wichtigste Suchergebnisse zu den gestellten Keywords anzuzeigen, konnten ungünstige Testurteile zur Folge haben, dass sich die Benützer nach weiteren Möglichkeiten bei dem Suche im Web umblicken. Die Rückmeldung der Suchmaschinen im WWW lagerbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Platz, die Gesichtspunkte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur schwierig beherrschbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entworfenen mit „Backrub“ – dem Vorläufer von Die Suchmaschine – eine Search Engine, die auf einem mathematischen KI basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Websites gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus einfluss besitzen ließ. Auch sonstige Internet Suchmaschinen orientiert zu Gesprächsaufhänger der Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. in Form der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Yahoo search
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
