Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten flott den Wert einer lieblings Listung in Suchergebnissen und recht bald fand man Betriebe, die sich auf die Besserung ausgebildeten. In Anfängen passierte die Aufnahme oft zu der Übermittlung der URL der richtigen Seite an die verschiedenartigen Suchmaschinen im Internet. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Betrachtung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetseite auf den Web Server der Suchseite, wo ein weiteres Anwendung, der gern genutzte Indexer, Informationen herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu diversen Seiten). Die zeitigen Varianten der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die durch die Webmaster selbst gegeben sind, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Internet Suchmaschinen wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Überblick via Gegenstand einer Seite, jedoch stellte sich bald raus, dass die Einsatz dieser Details nicht gewissenhaft war, da die Wahl der angewendeten Schlüsselworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Präsentation des Seiteninhalts spiegeln konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Internetseiten bei individuellen Recherchieren listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller vielfältige Eigenschaften in des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beeinflussen, dass die Seite richtiger in Resultaten gelistet wird.[3] Da die zeitigen Search Engines sehr auf Merkmalen dependent waren, die bloß in den Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr labil für Delikt und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um gehobenere und relevantere Urteile in den Ergebnissen zu bekommen, mussten sich die Unternhemer der Suchmaschinen im Internet an diese Gegebenheiten angleichen. Weil der Erfolg einer Search Engine davon zusammenhängt, wichtige Suchresultate zu den gestellten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, konnten unpassende Testergebnisse zur Folge haben, dass sich die Benützer nach anderen Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten bei der Suche im Web umgucken. Die Lösung der Suchmaschinen im Internet lagerbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Rangordnung, die Kriterien beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur mühevoll beeinflussbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entwarfen mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Google – eine Search Engine, die auf einem mathematischen Matching-Verfahren basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Internetseiten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus reingehen ließ. Auch andere Internet Suchmaschinen bedeckt bei Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. wohlauf der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Google
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
