Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten direkt den Wert einer bevorzugten Listung in Ergebnissen und recht bald entwickelten sich Firma, die sich auf die Optimierung qualifizierten. In Anfängen erfolgte der Antritt oft bezüglich der Übermittlung der URL der richtigen Seite bei der diversen Suchmaschinen im Netz. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Untersuchung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetpräsenz auf den Web Server der Recherche, wo ein weiteres Angebot, der so genannte Indexer, Informationen herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu ähnlichen Seiten). Die neuzeitlichen Varianten der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die durch die Webmaster eigenständig gegeben wurden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Internet Suchmaschinen wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben eine Übersicht per Gegenstand einer Seite, jedoch registrierte sich bald heraus, dass die Einsatz er Vorschläge nicht ordentlich war, da die Wahl der genutzten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Erläuterung des Seiteninhalts spiegeln konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Unterseiten bei einzigartigen Brauchen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller mehrere Fähigkeiten in des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beeinflussen, dass die Seite überlegen in den Serps aufgeführt wird.[3] Da die späten Search Engines sehr auf Gesichtspunkte abhängig waren, die ausschließlich in Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr anfällig für Missbrauch und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um vorteilhaftere und relevantere Urteile in Suchergebnissen zu erhalten, musste ich sich die Anbieter der Suchmaschinen im Netz an diese Rahmenbedingungen adaptieren. Weil der Ergebnis einer Suchmaschine davon abhängt, besondere Suchresultate zu den inszenierten Keywords anzuzeigen, konnten untaugliche Testergebnisse darin resultieren, dass sich die Mensch nach ähnlichen Optionen zur Suche im Web umgucken. Die Rückmeldung der Suchmaschinen im Internet lagerbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen beim Rangordnung, die Faktoren beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur nicht ohne Rest durch zwei teilbar leicht beherrschbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin gestalteten mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Yahoo – eine Suchmaschine, die auf einem mathematischen Routine basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Unterseiten gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus einfließen ließ. Auch sonstige Search Engines überzogen bei Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. wohlauf der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Suchmaschinen
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
