Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten schnell den Wert einer lieblings Listung in Serps und recht bald fand man Unternehmen, die sich auf die Besserung ausgerichteten. In den Anfängen ereignete sich die Aufnahme oft über die Transfer der URL der jeweiligen Seite in puncto verschiedenartigen Internet Suchmaschinen. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Analyse der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetpräsenz auf den Web Server der Suchmaschine, wo ein weiteres Angebot, der die bekannten Indexer, Informationen herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu sonstigen Seiten). Die frühen Varianten der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Informationen, die mit den Webmaster selber vorgegeben werden, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im Internet wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamteindruck via Thema einer Seite, aber setzte sich bald herab, dass die Benutzung der Tipps nicht gewissenhaft war, da die Wahl der verwendeten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Erläuterung des Seiteninhalts sonstige Verben vermochten. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Internetseiten bei speziellen Stöbern listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller vielfältige Merkmale binnen des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu lenken, dass die Seite richtiger in den Ergebnissen gelistet wird.[3] Da die zeitigen Suchmaschinen im Netz sehr auf Faktoren angewiesen waren, die ausschließlich in Taschen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr instabil für Abusus und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um gehobenere und relevantere Urteile in den Serps zu erhalten, musste ich sich die Betreiber der Suchmaschinen im Netz an diese Ereignisse angleichen. Weil der Gewinn einer Search Engine davon anhängig ist, wichtigste Ergebnisse der Suchmaschine zu den inszenierten Keywords anzuzeigen, konnten unpassende Vergleichsergebnisse zur Folge haben, dass sich die User nach diversen Chancen für die Suche im Web umschauen. Die Rückmeldung der Suchmaschinen im WWW vorrat in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Rangordnung, die Aspekte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur kompliziert beeinflussbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin generierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Urahn von Bing – eine Suchmaschine, die auf einem mathematischen Suchsystem basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Kanten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus einfluss besitzen ließ. Auch sonstige Suchmaschinen im Internet betreffend während der Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. fit der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Yahoo
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
